Group Questing? - Guild Wars Forums

Tried to search for this but wasnt able to find it asked already.

If you and some friends are grouped all doing the same quest, do you get credit for the kill or encounter just for being in the group or do you have to repeat it over and over again for all party members?

Everyone in the group gets credit (at least are supposed to, i have had it mess up once or twice) IF they all have the quest in their log.

Think of it this way. If your group all has the same quest, you all do the quest seperatly. You just are getting help with your friends. So answer is yes, but if you have to click on some guy to get to the next step or reward, you all have to click on him/her.

It isn't like a mission where only 1 person has to get to the end. You all have to get to the end to finish the quest in your book.

Perfect sense... I just wanted to make sure if it was a mission to kill something that we would all get credit for one kill and not have to kill it 4 or so times...
